The alleged 'festive season' is soon underway...

 

 

A formal dining room finds itself the scene of vibrant Christmas splendor, including bright blossoms, magnolia leaves, and porcelain painted with the fruits of the season.

I agree @Kachina624  it is overdone . But, keep in mind I am a minimalist, and follow the less is more rule.

I love a profusion of flowers at Christmas-- so fresh.  And the way these deep-toned beauties play off of the glinting silver and the porcelain is striking, enhancing one's anticipation and appreciation of a festive meal.
