I ordered a shark vacuumed cleaner/mop on the 5th of May. Today I checked with the status of the order and it is just now being shipped with the deliver being the 17th. With the shipping cost this insane. Sorry Q you have lost me. I could have spent the same money on amazon and gotten it in 2 days.

I can't tell you how many times recently I have not placed an order with QVC because of the shipping...both cost and delivery time.

I just don't get their business model -- anyone who has worked for a large company knows that shipping charges are greatly reduced with both FedX and UPS, but the Q still passes on this full expense to the customer.

I guess I will just "pass" on purchasing...

Yep. And the shipping would likely have been less on Amazon.......or you could probably have gotten free/cheap shipping somewhere else online. QVC isn't even on my radar when I'm shopping for products, largely because of non-competitive pricing and high shipping costs. Not even on my list.

I have prime with Amazon and the shipping is free and it is 2 day.

There are a few things I can only buy here, but in general I'm an Amazon shopper too.

Amazing customer service and incredibly fast shipping.

Q needs to up their game.

""Shipping"" is a huge profit center for the Q. It will always be that way unless you do something about it. Don't buy unless you get free or reasonable shipping.

When you purchased it what was the EDD - estimted delivery date? I have seen posts on here when people were upset about the time it took to get their item when it was actually delivered on or before the EDD. I don't know what the situation is here but would remind everyone to ALWAYS check the EDD while you are in the ordering process.
