Thank you all for such kind words.  I have the borders cut down to size and pinned in place.  Now all I have to do is iron and sew.  It is a rainy week so no garden work.  Hoping to finish this week.  I will post a final look.  LM

@Lilysmom - Simply beautiful. Thank you for posting those pictures. I am trying to get through a string quilt for my granddaughter (a birthday present). After that I have 2 more to finish for the twins (they will be a little smaller).

Lilysmom that is absolutely gorgeous! You are very talented. I wish I had some of your talent!  Love the sea theme and the colors.

@riley1 , I had to lookup a string quilt to see what it was.  Beautiful!  I am sure your granddaughter will be delighted.  Is it a surprise?  LM

@Lilysmom - yes, I usually make each of them a birthday and holiday or winter quilt. 

 

My daughter is starting to feel left out, lol. I am trying to fit one in for her for this Christmas - we will see. But the kids will certainly have great quilts to hand down, hopefully, to their kids.
