Question on Don Aslett's X-O odor neutralizer...

Received the X-O a few days ago and cannot get the sprayer to work right. When I spray I can feel the bottle getting wet on the outside and my hands get wet, but nothing is coming out of the sprayer part. It's like it is leaking out around the sprayer cap. Is there some kind of trick to getting this thing to work?

I bought this same stuff a few years back and it got thrown away by mistake - but I was having the same problem with the sprayer. Surely I'm not the only one to have had this happen to. Any suggestions?
