@Oznell  you have mentioned in previous posts about a nice Benjamin Moore blue paint color you like. DH wants to paint his office a blue color and I was trying to remember that blue color you like?

Hi  @cimeranrose ,  what a great color for his office!  Blue is so soothing, yet refreshing (to me, at least.)

The color that we chose for our living room about 8 years ago is Benjamin Moore's historic color,  "Woodlawn Blue".

I've never tired of it!  The key with blue for walls, I think, is to choose one that doesn't go too "cold".   Our trim with it is "Snow on the Mountain" -- despite the name, it's a creamy white (but still reads as "white".)

"Woodlawn Blue" is a complex but soft shade, with green and gray mixed in, so it never looks cold.  It's a bit "hazy".

Here's a living room I found with it:

In this room, with the sun flooding in, you can see the gentle "robin's egg" aspect to it.  It's still blue, but you can tell it's a green-gray-blue.  Looks good with rich dark woods as well as cream, white, chocolate, cocoa, terra cotta, navy.

Here's a little chart, where you can see the progression of Woodlawn Blue, Palladian Blue, and Wythe Blue.  You can see how they get progessively "greener", and a little more intense.  Palladian and Wythe Blue are ravishing as well!

He may not find this blue to his liking-- you and he might want to peruse the other Historic Collection blues-- it's harder to make a mistake with most of their "historic" colors-- they've really stood the test of time!

Thank you so much kind @Oznell for your response! So much helpful information. I will share these colors with dh. Thanks again! (I'm drawn to that Woodlawn blue, pretty yet serene looking. I can understand why you haven't tired of it).
