I was totally unaware of this channel but thanks to my hubby he accidentally came across this channel due to surfing our new Dish HD set up! For Dish subscribers, Q+ is on channel 255.

I don't have Dish, but I'm curious. What is the difference between Q and Q plus? Is it different programming/products, or reruns and repeats?

I think dish must have just started that as much as hubby and I flip channels we would have seen it before. But I am thrilled to death we just found it this weekend, especially with all the Christmas programming getting ready to start thats the ONLY time I watch QVC we can catch up on the shows we miss. I was so excited told hubby now I got 2 qvc's just got the famous eyeroll!

Yep and it's available on the website too but the Q already provides enough product repetition of the same old brands. I can't see wanting to access this more than once in a great while, you know, for that extremely rare show I actually hoped to see but missed.

Direct TV has had it for some time. It just show programming that was aired about 2 hours earlier. I can't figure out what the purpose is?

And there have been a few times that it aired something not even available on the regular Q channel. One time, during a special jewelry weekend or fashion weekend or something of that nature, there was a live (with audience) In the Kitchen with David show, only on Q Plus, so those who didn't enjoy the regular programming didn't miss the regular cooking show featured at that hour.

I have also seen them re run some of the newer special non live Your'e Home With Jill shows, and I think some show with Lisa Robertson as well.

I love this Q Plus, as we don't have DVR or any thing like that, and I often miss a show I want to see, or it is on in the middle of the night, and with this 3 hour delay, I can see a lot of what I missed.

I'm wondering if it will advance to be less about "re runs" and more about alternative programming and special programming as time goes on.

I have also seen a couple ""QVC Plus"" only shows. They were fashion-type shows. They specifically said ""this is a live show on QVC Plus"" during them.

I've only found HSN 2.

I'm Comcast.

I posted about this on another thread so forgive me if I sound repetitive. I have seen QVCP on DirecTV. I also wonder why QVC has a total of 3 channels on DirecTV. 275 and 317 seem to both be High Definition channels broadcasting the same content. 315 is QVCP which is what you all described above. I think it is also HD.

Now that you've mentioned the idea of broadcasting "specials" I'm guessing that's why they have all those stations. They are holding them for some future plans they have yet to announce. I wonder what it will be? Ya know, sort of like people/companies buying Web site domains for future use.

I also asked on that other thread why doesn't HSN have High Definition feeds? At least I've only seen one one HSN channel on DirecTV (channel 240) and it's not HD.
