Problem with SmartSet Emerson clock

from QVC that I have had for a couple of years. It is the one that shows the Indoor/Outdoor temperature. I am wondering if any of you out there have this particular clock? My problem is that the Outdoor temperature keeps flashing and has for several days now. I changed the batteries in the remote that hangs outside, but it is still flashing! I cannot locate the booklet that came with it nor can I find anything on the clock to push - pull - poke - hit {#emotions_dlg.confused1} LOL! I thought I would try here first to see if any of you could help me. We really miss this feature!!!
