It's a legitimate question.  I prefer "deep seat" sofas and have two of them.

We have a very large Deep Seat Sectional (best sofa we have ever purchased) and everyone loves it. It is standard height..not low at all.

We bought it from Raymore and Flanigan.

I think you pretty much have to go into a store and sit in them. They all seem so different to me and I had to just sit in many of them  to find just what I wanted!
