I had a taupe one. The photos bring back memories. The phone books, themselves, would have a spread on all the available phones, colors, and styles. Wall phones, too.

We always just had the big black dial phone.  Only upgrade was when we found out we could have a longer cord on it.

 

My parents couldn't spend the money for a princess phone. Cat Wink

I was thinking almost the same thing.  We had a wall phone in the kitchen and a phone in my parents' bedroom but no Princess Phone.  As a teenager, I would have loved one - guess I was just a deprived child lol.

They came in rotary and push button models.


I think the push button ones were ugly.  To me, a real princess phone had a rotary dial.
