Wonder why they refer to this as a primitive kitchen - there is nothing primitive about it.  It is modern and not done very well as a modern kitchen either.   I would re-name it boring kitchen.

I know I would be tripping over the sawhorse legs.  The “noose” light fixtures look like the electrician didn’t finish the job!  Definitely not my taste. 

 

Is form still to follow function in “modern” design or has that changed?    I don’t see it here, but, it would be interesting to see someone really cook in the space.

Personally, I wouldn't call this primitive- looks more like they ran out of money and to put that island counter on something.

 

Has a more modern feel to me.
