I have two cupboard lazy susans...one lower, one upper level. Never have had any problems with them. Keep spices, tea, cocoa, etc. on the upper level, and canned goods, flour and sugar on the bottom. So convenient.
They seem very sturdy, so I don't think pans would be a problem, but to me it makes more sense to keep smaller items in them so I don't have to rummage to find what I want.

I call them Lazy Susans and I've always had one in my kitchen. When we built our new house fifteen years ago, I got one in each bottom corner. One holds my pots, pans, pie plates, etc. The other one hold canned foods. They are sturdy and substantial enough to hold heavy items. I love them. It allows me to make use of the corners that are sometimes hard to access.

We have one. It's very convenient and uses stye space in a sensible way.

I just had my kitchen remodeled and I have 3 of these--made of wood. Nothing had fallen down because there is a lip around the edge. My aunt had these in the 50's.

My grandmother had two of those in her kitchen when I was a kid. Seeing it again brought back nice memories. I have a small kitchen but I think something like that would encourage clutter. For me.

I have that exact thing on my bottom corner cabinet. On the top cabinet it doesn't move.
There are two shelves on the bottom.

I agree. Is this being featured as something "new"? I had this in my kitchen when I had it redone over 15 years ago. The contractor suggested it, and it was fine, but not anything that I got overly excited about.

We had 2 of them in the last place I lived. The round shelves were wood, and very sturdy. On one side were food items and the other one was used for the pots and pans. Loved them! But it was problematic when things fell off them, since the shelves weren't lipped.
In my house now, there is a large cupboard in the middle that has slide out shelves, which is where I keep the pots and pans. I actually like these better, because the pans can't fall off the round shelf and then end up having to be dug out of the corners off the floor.
