We actually have a butterfly museum here in Deerfield, MA .. that is, if you can handle the extreme humidity they're in.  I went once, there're so many varieties but couldn't wait to leave .. I just don't deal well with humidity, nevermind how high it was in this museum.

I have to laugh every time I see a butterfly anything. 

I like butterflies in nature. Not in my house. Never have. 

When my son was little, he somewhere got the idea I liked butterflies. First he got me this HUGE butterfly magnet for on the fridge (another thing I never liked, anything on the front of my fridge (or the sides for that matter). 

Well of course, I have to love it (even if I don't) cause my little boy gave it to me. It hung on the center of the freezer on top of my fridge for many years, until the magnet got weak and it fell and broke (I glued it back together, I was so sad). 

He bought me other butterfly things over the years. Of course I never said anything, and used or displayed every one. 

But to this day, when I see a butterfly anything, I still don't like them for my home. 

These dishes are pretty though, just not for me.
