Re: Powder Room, Before & After

Neither but If I have to I'll choose the first...the second is dark,  cluttered & the low hanging pictures will be covered in gross droplets from flushing with the lid up.

I don’t like either of them. I definitely do not need an art gallery in my small bathroom.

Re: Powder Room, Before & After

If I had to choose I guess I'd choose the first one.

I have 3 & 1/2 bathrooms.  The 1/2 is the powder room.  It was supposed to be 4 bathrooms but when my husband was designing the house he thought a tub or shower off of the hallway was tacky she he eliminated it.

In mine theres wallpaper, a potbelly looking table with drawer (french provential).  I also have a small tiffany lamp in there.

That last picture just has too much going on for me.

I used to do a lot of x-stitch.  They're all over my house.  There's one in the powder room.  That and a huge oval mirror are all that's hanging on the walls.

At least there'd be things to look at with all of those pictures in the second one....while on the pot!

Re: Powder Room, Before & After

I do love the picture on the wall in the before photo!  However, the after picture is much more appealing.  I too put pictures and decor on the walls in my bathroom so I do like that look.

Re: Powder Room, Before & After

I like the before better because I prefer simpler decor. I think there are too many pictures on the wall in the after and feel they would get in the way.

The first was ok.  The second looks very interesting.

If a bathroom was stepped up THIS much, beware, the other parts of the house are coming up behind!!!

The before picture just looks blah.

The after picture is much bolder, but also darker.  Still, while it's not my taste, I think it would appeal to many others.  Looks to be in a formal style home.

Re: Powder Room, Before & After

Interesting....I'd choose the "after" bathroom. The first one is too blah and the framed print looks like a mismatch for the room. I also don't like towels on top of the toilet or the lack of a T.P. holder. In the "after" photo, I love the wall color, and some of those framed prints, but the ones hung so low and close to the toilet would be a no for me. The wicker basket sitting next to the toilet is.....not good. LOL!
