I'm expecting the plumber today, I've been waiting close to a week. Don't get me wrong , I'm not complaining about the plumbers, they are very busy, and take care of emergencies first. My issue is plumbing problems, I have an old house, and I have fewer problems than you might think. However , they give me such anxiety. I always build them up in my mind until I start freaking out. What home issues , if any, make you crazy.

Every single one! 😄
So I can fully understand your anxiety. I, too, build things up in my mind beforehand to envision the worst possible outcome.
But I'm always so relieved when the problem is fixed.😉
Good luck with your plumber. Hopefully it will be a quick--and inexpensive--fix. 🤞

Moles. I'm having problems with them again. I spotted some bricks that have sunkin down a few inches on my back patio. It means those buggers are tunneling under them again. I HATE THEM.
But this has been the worst 6 months $$$ wise for plumbers/roofers/chimney people and appliances biting the dust than EVER.

I hate it when this stuff happens in clusters, you have my sympathy.

I can handle absolutely any plumbing problem, or call the experts. What I absolutely hate are sewer back ups. This has happened a couple of times and it is a mess in our basement.
So consider yourself lucky.

Our fridge, dishwasher and water softener all have started acting up/ mal functioning recently. Just ordered a new dishwasher, and looks like water softener is next. Hoping fridge hangs on a little longer.
Mom always said things happen in threes. 😰

Our foundation and brick exterior riding up and down on shrink/swell soil and tearing our house apart. Everyone we call wants $5K to $75 K just to fix part of the issue. Sigh. We don't have that. No way, no how.

After living in my house for 34 years, I can't wait to get rid of it!!! Just had the garage end of our house jacked up as the foundation was settling---cha-ching---about $6000. Always had issues with the septic system that needs constant repair. Heating system is older than dirt----and trying to keep up with 2 1/2 acres of woods---is a freaking nightmare!!! Home ownership is a drag---want a small place with no upkeep and no stupid stairs!!!! GRRRRRRRRR-------

Anything to do with water makes me crazy, and every house I have owned has water issues.
Roofs and foundations that leak seem to be standard for us. Water is so destructive, and because of the luck we have had with roofs leaking and water in the basement, I tend to cringe every time it rains.
We fixed the issues in all houses of course, and we have had inspections to try to foresee the issues, but they kind of follow us like the plague.
