Platform Beds

Hi Everyone:

We are planning on buying a new bed and, while at a hotel about a month ago, we had a very nice platform bed in our room....so now we are thinking of getting one.

I would really appreciate those of you who have a platform bed giving your opinions on them....pros or cons....compared to standard beds.
