I recently discovered this store for myself for the first time! And I purchased a few very impressive items. Duvet set, curtains, decorative pillow, figurine, holiday decor!!!!

What is your opinion, experience of this company and suggestions on when are best sales, where to get their coupons?

Anything is appretiated, thanks in advance.

I like Pier 1 for anything except  upholstered furniture.  I have been happy with everything I have ever purchased from them, except a love seat that I purchased two years ago.  The quality seemed great in the store, but within six months the fabric looked very worn, and the seat, itself, developed a terrible squeak anytime you moved the least little bit.  I donated the love seat.  I will never buy anything that is upholstered from them again.

Pier Imports is a great store.   I've purchased many things for my home over the years and all have lasted and have been of good quality.  They certainly carry a unique style and change their inventory now and then.  As far as coupons, not sure of that but I know the store in our area has sales all the time. Have fun.

I love Pier One but they can be expensive.  I would check their website for sales, and be prepared to have the offer with you if you want them to honor it in the store.  Ebates does a 2% up to as high as 11% on their site.  They don't allow you to stack coupons...discount or free shipping, so best to buy on sale and then get the free shipping.  I know that one day a month, the Pier One credit card holders get a 10% discount on all purchases.

One way to avoid the shipping costs is to have them order it for you in store if not in stock.

It may be my store, but many times if I order on line and pick up in store (from their stock), be sure to check the condition for scratches, sometimes they don't check it very well before pulling the order.

If in store, I always check the clearance section, there have been some great finds for much less then regular price.

Pier one has two rewards programs.  The first one is like a grocery store scan card.  You sign up at the store.  You will get emails, mail and an occasional 15% off.  In the mailings are occasional coupons.  The second one is through the pier one credit card.  You get every above, except get an occasional 20% off.  In addition, every dollar you spend goes toward a reward coupon.  I think it's $20 for everything $200 spent, but you better verify that.  Love pier one.

Sign up for their emails.  That's the best way to keep up with the sales and coupons.  Just be sure to have them available when shopping in the store.

Bought two bar stools in wood (shorter stools) 6 1/2 years ago.  DH has had to re-tighten all legs and stretchers three times during that period.  Love the stools, not crazy about how it was manufactured.

This is my favorite store because I can always find something unique and functional.  The online inventory is huge. Most times you have an option to have sent to your door or to the store nearest you. You can also order on line and pick up at your local store the same day. I've used all of these services and they all have been very good. Items are packaged nicely and furniture requires no or very little assembly.

My favorite items to find there are ovrsized candle holders or those accent furniture pieces. Very nice quiality and it fits the budget. Hve fun shopping!

We have a very nice Pier One here. I love their items and stop in from time to time.

The only thing about the store is that (mine at least) is so jam-packed it is easy to get sensory overload.

My most recent purchase from there was some beautiful clip on feathered peacocks for the lighted urn trees in my foyer.
