We just remodeled the small bathroom on the first floor of our house. It is the one that guests use when we have people over for dinner. The project included new paint, new bead board on the walls and the ceiling, crown molding, and chair rail. We put in a new medicine cabinets and wall lights, a new chandelier and mirror over the tub.

The commode is new, but we already had the pedestal sink and the claw foot tub. We did add new faucets to both--and we had the tub refinished. We had the outside painted dark grey to match the walls.

We customized the door ourselves after my husband saw a similar project on HGTV. We had a glass company frost a piece of glass for us, then had a sign painter do the lettering and border. We then cut the top panel of the door out, replaced it with the glass and added trim to hold it. I think it turned out very well.

New artwork and accessories round it out. I'm posting several pictures from different viewpoints. Also, I posted two different pictures of the chandelier--it shows up better in pictures when it isn't turned on.

nice job! love your custom made door. It reminds me of my pantry door I ordered through Lowers several years ago when we bought our house. . It is white with a cut glass upper section with the word "Pantry" cut into the glass.

You all did a good job. I just love decorating/updating around the house, don't you? Enjoy!!
