From time to time posters ask where to get percale sheets. LL Bean has some nice colors and some really cute patterns. I usually get solid colors, but these new patterns are really cute.

"Percale" means a thread count of 200 or over

I have the set with the buoy's on it on my wish list, I love it for my coastal decorated master!   I was saving my Bean Bucks up and hoping for a 15% off sale which they offer now and then.  Their sheets last forever and fit well.

@Desertdi I always thought that percale was a combination of cotton & polyester.

Boll and Branch has lovely sheets. The presentation is amazing, they box them beautifully. Recently they had a 20% off sale so I always go to sale section and then get the extra % off.

@Dusty1    It can be all cotton...OR a blend...

Re: Percale Sheets Fans

[ Edited ]

@Desertdi , I thought percale was 100% cotton.  I will make sure I check next purchase. I am looking for a new set.  My favorite sheet set just bit the dust.  I find it so hard to find good percale.  LLBean is on the list but I keep my eyes open for other deals.  LM

@Lilysmom1     For anything I am going to sleep IN or ON...I prefer going to a store-with-doors.     This might sound "gross"....but I give those items a sniff-test to make sure they don't have a "cargo-hold" aroma.    di

@Desertdi , I picked up a set Friday.  Nice cotton but the bottom sheet was too small for my bed.  Back to the drawing board.  I put buying sheets right up there with swimsuits.  LM

@Lilysmom1     Can I add "ladies dress pants" to the list?    I am 4'10"....and petite are too long, and extra-petite are too short in the rise.    Cutting off "average" destroys the shape......

Fitted sheets are another struggle with me.    I finally found an independent store that sold flat sheets separately from the "sets".....

and then they had the nerve to go out of business (!!)  di
