Painted (Beach) Ceiling - Page 4

I like this overall, but would like it much more if the ceiling were painted and treated, rather than stained, so that the knotholes did’t show.

Here is what I found to describe the process-

The ceiling wood is finished with highly diluted aqua tint to give it just a hint of color and left without varnish to assure the wood looks natural and that there is no reflection.
