I have a decorating problem and need your expertise if you don't mind answering a question.
I have 2 half walls one in the entry way and one in the kitchen. They are both capped off with a piece of painted wood. We would like to cover them with marble but today at HomeDepot we were told that the minimum you have to spend on marble slabs is $400 - required by the co. that provides the slab. So it would cost $800 to do two and that is too much. So now we are looking at tiling them and we like that idea alright BUT - here is finally the question - how do we cover the sides of the slab of wood if we choose to tile them- do they make something that will go around the edge and down the sides at least an inch?
