Cute WL, I really like the way that looks. Yes I do have the JS snowman along with a few others that have cardinals in them.

Sure wish I had the talent to fix up something like that for the top of one of my lanterns. thanks for the picture.

Me too, J. I am just not good at making ribbon bows. Thinking I will look for a plain topper and add to it with premade bows & pics.

I like the way she has the berries tumbling out of the lantern; kind of goes against the expectation there will be something inside.

I KNEW you had that snowman . . . and a few more!!

Hey whitelinen! Your lantern looks awesome! You did a great job. I'm still thinking about mine and whether I will paint it or not. I'm working part time now so not as much time to have fun here. I can't wait to see your finished product when it's all decorated. I love plaid bows and greenery and I think that would be stunning. Also love black/white like the topper shown. If you can't find what you are looking for there are many sellers on Etsy that make lovely bows.

Hi mallemo, wondered about where you were!

Happy to read you are here with us. I know what it's like to have work interfere with the creative process lol!! I was working 24 hrs a week, just went to 40 and it's killing me. No time to play around with crafts, or keep my house the way I like it.

Will try to find a plain topper and add to it. The real problem will be finding just the right place for the Big Ole Red Lantern. Going to keep it in the house cause I have grown so found of him.

Great idea bout bows on Etsy, will take a look Do you have a favorite vendor?

I'm going to experiment with my chalk paint on some lanterns I have on hand. Still need a few white lanterns for the Christmas FP. Hoping the chalk paint will stick to a bronze finish; will try it out when I have some time.

If you decide to paint your Big Ole Lantern, please post and let us know how it's going.
