That would work and on the 4th of July, have them holding a flag and Halloween they can hold pumpkins and Thanksgiving, they can be turkeys. there it is all worked out so you never have to put him away.
That problem solved, now on to the next.

I will wait and see what surfaces closer to Halloween. I'm sure there will be more. Anyway...it was sort of fun to watch and bid on it.
Hi MTH,
Sorry you didn't win your bid but you don't need to feel bad since you went as high as you wanted to go for the piece. It does bother me when I would have gone more and loose it. That is why I put in my top bid when I bid and hope for the best, if I really really want it. Hopefully another one will show up. I am sure you will have many sets of eyes watching for this one for you.

edited to say: I just checked it out and that would have been kinda high once you add in the S&H and I don't think I would have gone that high either. Many other neat ones will come along for a less.
Can I ask you gals how much the winning bid was? I've watched that piece for the last couple of years and it usually sells for a pretty high price compared to the other witches. I guess that's because it's an older one and there aren't as many around. Keep watching though because they always pop up.

I don't think it's a glow in the dark piece, the description should say so if it does glow. I have a Mickey Mouse halloween piece that glows - I like that piece a lot also. But of course I love all my pieces or I wouldn't buy them. I sent an email thru Jim Shore's site requesting witches dressed in color other than black to add some color to my collection. Purple, green....those would make nice Halloween witches. Also requested a harvest witch. I hope he follows thru. Got a little off topic there from your question.
I would LOVE this as well.... THat's why some years as much as I love the main witch/witches he comes out with, I pass as they sometimes look similar. I also would like a little color in my witches. Even a harvest witch sounds awesome!
From what I could see it looks like maybe the hat on the zombie witch is green. I hope so anyway. I agree about some looking alike, I think the face on the trick or treat one from this year looks a lot like the Witchful Thinking one from last year or the year before.

Hi Itsmetoo: The winning bid was $73.50 plus the seller wanted $9.50 shipping which I thought was high so I just stopped bidding. I tried contacting the JS store but they said they didn't have the piece and I needed to try to get it in the secondary market. I guess we can all watch out for that piece here and there. Maybe closer to Halloween more of those types of pieces will surface.

I agree with you on the face for the trick or treat one and last year's witch looking similar. That's why I like the Zombie one. The hat does have a green tint to it. I love her scary face.

I agree - that would be too high for me too. There will be more of that one before Halloween, just keep checking back often.
