Ok Lucy: I went to P1 at lunchtime. Got the wooden eggs; a small sisal bunny with a pink bow around his neck; the b/w bunny; a very small white ceramic bunny (didn't see him online); and one of the larger nests (this one had flowers and eggs in it). Used my 20% off and still spent only around $30. Not too bad. There were some larger white bunnies ($29 each) that were really adorable, but I had already ordered the Valerie one's that you found on sale. I also stopped at my HL but they were a wreck. There was 2 rows of Valentines stuff and about 10 empty aisles. Guess they are getting ready but it was a bust to go there this week.

Hope you were able to use your 20% Off coupon too.Smile

Hi MTH, sounds like you made a great purchase. I'm so excited for you. I want those eggs too but I'd better do it before the special ends tonight. I have so much stuff I almost hesitate to bring in more but sure I will. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin} I want to make some floral pieces for spring too. Did you see any topiaries today? I think they're just starting to put out the Spring stuff, don't you?

I had a fun time at lunch today over there. I can walk around forever. I looked at the egg topiary they had there and it was pretty but I wasn't a fan of the base. It was sort of small (IMO) for the rest of the topiary. I think you are correct that most places are just starting to put spring items out so i will keep a look out for the topiary. I really like your idea of getting one that I can add things to for different holidays but keep the main part constant. It just makes more sense from a buying standpoint and from a storage standpoint. If I was more creative, i'd try to make my own but I'm not very good at that so I'll just keep a lookout.

I still have a 10% off coupon that is good thru the end of Feb so if anything else comes out that I can't live without, at least I'll have that one too.

Hi MTH, if you know someone who lives in the country, you can usually find a small shrub like tree that is now leafless and spray with a good clear sealer, or white wash it , put it in a pot of your choice and hang eggs, Christmas ornaments, etc. We used to make them when we lived in the country. All kind of small scrubby trees grew along creek banks. They have natural limbs for hanging decorative things on. I know you live in Florida so not sure what grows near you. I don't do a lot of crafts now but used to.

I'm glad you had fun today. I love to look at seasonal, all of it. Harvest, Christmas & Easter are about all I do much for though.

I'm in the process of downsizing my two walkin clothes closets. No one person needs that many clothes. I could use some of that space to store my seasonal treasures. {#emotions_dlg.laugh}
