Paging Knicknack

[ Edited ]

@nicknack

In your recent thread where we redorated your fireplace, I mentioned a putty I'd used to keep pets from knocking thing off.  I just found the package and wanted to give you specific info.

Manufacturer is Loctite

Product is Fun-Tak Mounting Putty

It sticks to about everything and removes without marking.

Loctite is a major glue maker with products in craft and hardware stores.  Great for mounting posters on walls including brick and cinder block.  Put a marble size blob on the back of a framed picture, make sure it's level, press to wall and you'll never have to straighten again.

Thank you @Kachina624 .  I was planning on ordering museum wax to help protect the things on my mantel from Henry, my cat.  I looked at the mounting putty you recommended, and it seems like that would work well for a couple of small paintings that I have on the side of an armoire (sounds strange but you see it when walking in my front door).

Thanks for recommending this.
