I changed jobs recently; went from one hospital to another so have been busy with orientation. I still have quite a few projects hanging fire; a wreath and several pieces to paint.

Cut down on my hours as well for the summer. Expect to have the DGK's a lot, at least hoping to!!

Yes, I am really looking forward to CIJ. Hope there will be some offerings that excite all of us! I just love to hear about the new pieces and how everyone views them, and their plans for them.

I still haven't checked everything out here but have noticed it being real quiet. Hope you have been doing good.

Has mallemo been around much this spring. Hopefully she isn't still getting snow. I know she was still getting it after it had stopped here. I did talk to my DSIL last week and they were getting lots of snow.

I haven't gotten any really good deals lately on home items or stores. I did weaken the other day and bought some quilting fabric that was on sale. I keep telling myself I don't need anymore and will never use all that I have but I just couldn't control myself

If I get some info on some buys I know you can't live without, I will give you a shout out. Hope you and your family have a great Memorial weekend.

Hi JPC! Glad to see you back posting. It's been quiet here pretty much except for when VPH has had a show coming up. I guess we all get busy when the weather starts to warm up. We are finally getting some warmers temps and I hope they are here to stay. Have a good holiday weekend!

Nice to be back mallemo. You all can't keep me away that easy. Just seems like life gets in the way sometimes. I have been trying to get some things done in the quilting room, doing another day of hand quilting till we get the raffle quilt done and have spent some time at the doctors office and having tests.

Glad you are having warmer temps now. I didn't think winter would ever get over. In fact the other night when we had some storms, a town close to us had hail which covered the ground. Strange weather

Hope you are getting along good at your new hospital whitelinen. What fun to have the DGK's this summer. I sure do miss that. I know you will have fun with them and they will enjoy being with grandma too.

We would never want you to stay away JPC...lol! I would love to be at that quilt raffle with lots of money to buy. That would be so much fun. Hope your tests turn out well with good news. I heard CO had crazy hail also. This nicer weather is just getting started and it's already causing problems. I guess that's to be expected though. Take care and check in when you can.

I treated myself for my upcoming birthday to the Croco Dooney handbag that was a recent TSV. I love the bag but now I have to remember that I have several months of Easy Pay coming. How quickly those are forgotten until the bill comes. . Hope you have a great weekend.

You could afford this quilt raffle, 6 tickets for $5.00 but luck would have to be on your side to get your name drawn since we sell a lot of tickets. But there is always a chance and a happy winner.

Still waiting on the doctor to find out about one of the tests. Guess I am going to have to give them a call.

Still waiting on the doctor to call. Like I told mallemo, guess I am going to have to call him. I asked the nurse about it when she called a couple weeks ago and she said she would talk to him about it. Maybe that meant just that, that she would talk to the DR and figured if she did that, she had done her share. Guess I should have said and you will call me back but I just assumed she would know to do that.
