Oreck Vacuum Parts

The brushes wear out fast; but I am so happy with the vacuum otherwise.

I ordered brushes direct from Oreck wow $40, what I received was very thin bristles - DARN! Those brushes didn't last (duh)so I ordered from an online vendor and the brushes are only $12 each. They arrived today. Thick bristles and work nicely. It is very easy to change out by the way. My daughter has a great vacuum but it is so heavy (25 lbs) that I get sore using it. So, moral to story is DO NOT purchase any parts direct from Oreck. Lots of Web sites offer Oreck supplies.
