I like the view and architectural details of the space much more than the furnishings. The sofa can stay, but I don't like the rest.

I would need a tad more color, print and texture.  I hate that the wood ceiling and fireplace mantle were painted over.

That view is amazing though!!

I'd have to try to squeeze those two club chairs or smaller ones into each corner by the window for a cozy viewing and chatting spot.  The sofa could be pulled back toward the camera, facing the view with open space between those chairs.  For more seating, something could go where the sofa is currently.  Leave it to me to crowd a room, but that view is too beautiful to waste as it is.

So pretty!  Great view and love the large window.  I think if I were to nitpick I would prefer the ceiling not to be coffered but would want to simplify it and have the beams only going in the one direction - towards the window.  I think that would make the room even lighter and airier.  Love the room overall, furniture is fine - I probably would change it all up, given the choice, but it's ok / fine the way it is

@Free2be , I am with you on seating by the window.  I have two rockers by the window. I am a gardener and the view is delightful overlooking the lake.  We get the most amazing sunsets.  LM

Gorgeous but the light colored wood is sooo dated! Looks like the 90's furniture my parents bought in 1992 when they moved in their new condo.

Love the space, the view, the windows and the ceiling. The pops of red are so pretty too!
