I enjoy the novelty of CIJ but QVC uses this to launch a barrage of Christmas shows that last the next 5 months. Too much.

I think it is so ironic that people complain about a two day event, once a year, while yesterday, today and tomorrow are essentially nothing but fashion and beauty (and this isn't even an 'event' but their regular programming for those days). For those of us who have no interest in those areas, we spend a significant portion of the year with those as our only QVC options for days on end, over and over again all the rest of the year, so I certainly think we 'earn' the holiday shows.

I agree. We've had months of Susan Graver, Honora Gold and Vitamix. A couple of days of Christmas stuff offers some variety. I would love to see QVC's sales numbers. I can't wrap my head around how they could sell so much clothing and jewelry.

I love Christmas, but I like to savor the seasons as they come, and enjoy them for what they are. Time goes fast enough these days it seems, why push it faster? I've just put up my Easter décor and loving the pastels and spring fever that is upon us now. And can't wait to get started in the garden. Believe me July will come fast enough.
