Ive used Scott 1-ply for years because it seems I always have the potential for plumbing problems and its what plumbers recommend.   If you wet a wad of it you'll see how fast it dissolves,  which is why it's also recommended for use in RVs with holding tanks.

I'm so amused that everyone knows the ply number of their tp! LOL - I just had to check and it looks like I'm a double-ply tp user! I never knew people thought much about these things. I always learn a great deal from these boards.😸

I've only used 1-ply Scott toilet paper for the past 20 years. I can't stand the thick stuff. Its such a waste.
