@Patriot3  I believe this photograph was taken at the Greystone Inn that sits on Lake Toxaway in North Carolina.

Oh, serenity now! Living next to that lake would be one of my dreams come true.

 

I love looking at homes for sale and recently found a perfect place in Connecticut on the Mystic River. My actual non-dream home is a 50's tract house in the middle of a SW desert heat island! But tho not a dream come true, I am grateful, as in the Alina, Peace Love World sort of way.

Ladies, everything is beautiful, but there is reality too if you lived there.  There are snakes and mosquitoes also.

I love the lakes and I really miss them. Haven't been to one in a few years. My grandparents had a lake college and my other set of grandparents rented one every summer so I have great memories, too.

 

This is a beautiful setting.
