A already live in Jurassic Park. No need for me to bring those critters into the house.

I do have animal skins decorating my living room wall though.

In my "real" life, I am a teacher, most currently of middle schoolers.

Right now I have taken a few days of bereavement leave, in order to cope with the loss of my godmother/aunt. They are all on the opposite coast, so when I finish with school I catch up on the calls/texts that I missed during the school day while my phone is off (and with the time change) and then I get caught up. Unfortunately, I was burning the emotional candle at both ends and finding it difficult to get through this week's start of standardized testing and keep up with the funeral planning/events. One small mistake during standardized testing can result in a violation, which can mean the loss of the teaching certificate, disciplinary action or termination.

So now I am doing "mindless" tasks for a bit and looking at things on Pinterest or wherever that don't require so much concentration. The service is today at 1:00.
