Not sure where I read or heard it but breeders, rescues and other animal shelters have been notified under no circumstances is any one to sell, give or let her have another animal. I also heard she was an eye doctor. And that she started out as a breeder but never sold any of her animals.
Hope she gets some help. Because she needs it. Thankfully the dogs are all getting help.

I must say, this dog I have doesn't act like your typical puppy mill/hoarding victim. Once in a while I get a chicken sandwich combo with fries at Wendy's. I'm not a big fan of fries so I eat a few, then share them with the dogs. I take turns feeding them by hand. She lined up with the other three tonight, took her fry gently from my fingers with no grabbing and patiently waited her turn. That's the only "people food" my dogs get. She has fit in so well, it's like she has been here forever.
The woman is an optometrist. In the past she has used an alias to trick people into selling dogs to her. For all we know she has others stashed away somewhere. I'm sure we'll hear about her again some time. She has such a strong compulsion, she can't help herself. Anyone who would lie to a federal judge repeatedly, has a real problem and no scruples.
Rocky Mountain Collie/Sheltie Rescue picked up 10 dogs yesterday, including a fourth pregnant female which had just been discovered. I'm very close to this group, having adopted two dogs from them.

You are welcome. I am not looking for kudos for making a donation, but only write about it in the hope to nudge others into doing the same. It's so easy to send a paypal donation when you are online, and many people don't think of doing that, or are not yet aware of how easy it is.
Parasites are so nasty. I hope your collie recovers fully.
When I am at a pet store and they ask at the register if I want to donate a dollar for this or that, I always say "no" because I DO donate my time and resources toward adoption. Those necessary meds and vet bills add up for every dear animal we take under our roof. - Bird
