Amaryllis_HollyBerry_Arrangement.jpg

This grabbed me!  Must be the fresh greens, plus the weathered trunk, outsize bottles, and home-made braided rug.  A sweet holiday vignette.

It was part of an article on Christmas window decorations at Flower magazine.  Do you do that?  I've hung a wreath on a mirror, but not a window, that I can remember.

They had a few other pretty examples of decorated windows:

Re: OLD MARYLAND FARM WINDOW

Love them all, except for the dining room setting. Especially, like the one with the oversized bottles.

Re: OLD MARYLAND FARM WINDOW

I love the first 2 especially.

One of my daughters hangs little green mini wreaths from each window in the dining and living room. Just green leaf wreaths with a gold ribbon. It's very pretty.

Re: OLD MARYLAND FARM WINDOW

These windows are beautiful. The last photo captured my heart, with sudden thoughts of romantic Victorian novels. It's very feminine. The stained glass and window seat is captivating, but I am biased, being a stained glass fan.

I'm sitting across from one now, in my home, that almost fills an entire large window. For many years, every single day, it has made me smile, when the sun is setting appearing to light it up.

Lovely windows and greenery! Unfortunately, they would drive my asthma and allergies crazy. I have a few houseplants, but I have to be very careful what I bring into my house.

Re: OLD MARYLAND FARM WINDOW

They are all beautiful @Oznell

The decorations in the first picture are my favorite although the second picture comes close. The double windows in the second are stunning.

I'd love to curl up in the window seat with my beloved fur daughter on a sunny day, soaking in the warmth of the winter sun. Heart

Re: OLD MARYLAND FARM WINDOW

I love them all. They are so beautiful and festive.

I have hung wreaths on my windows and natural garlands around my doors and think they look great there, always outside though.

All those pine needles are too difficult to clean up. And they do make a mess.  Months later, I was still finding needles I missed.
