I like winter... It's the heat and humidity of summer that make me want to run and hide. That said, extended extremes in either direction get old fast... As for my neck of the woods, about 15 degrees with the winds gusting to thirty or so miles an hour, making it feel about as cold as it is wherever you are, OP... Bracing, isn't it...

It was 82 in SoCal today but should cool off about 10 degrees tomorrow. Another beautiful day - so grateful we can raise our family here

I live halfway between Louisville and Cincinnati along the Ohio river and it is 7 degrees now with wind chills dropping to 17 below tonight. Was going to the casino, 7 miles away, but decided to just stay in instead...lol.

10 degrees today. We were on a delay in the a.m.

That was fun , but then BF e-mailed me at about 4:30 to say that we didn't have power. I stayed at work until 7 because who wants to come home to an unheated (and dark) house?

It was 81 today in Phoenix but it is supposed to cool down over the weekend, thank goodness. Very nice to go for a hike but don't want it to be to warm to soon. Cool weather can come back.

We broke a record here in the Sacramento, Ca area. Sunny and 66 degrees and expected to last through mid-week. I need to prune my roses before they think it is Spring and start putting out new growth.

We have a balmy -4 with a wind chill of -18, with a forecast of -30 wind chill. Schools are closed again tomorrow (they were today, also). But the worse thing is there are households without electricity in a city nearby. No other information, but I would hope they restore it soon. People could go to family, friends, or a motel, but what about the pipes? What a terrible thing to have happen.

Currently 7, windchill -5 in my area of TN. Expecting temps to drop further. We lost power for most of the day. Back on now. Area schools are closed tomorrow. Stay safe everyone.
