I remember when Northern Nights comforters were advertised on QVC as being made by Pacific Coast Feather Company. I am curious if this is still the case. I have been waiting and waiting for a white down blanket from Northern Nights. I was so disappointed last week to see nothing but those checked blankets. So I started searching for a white down blanket. If anyone is interested in a solid blanket you can order from Pacific Coast Feather Company. All products ship free and everything is on sale now.

No, sadly NN hasn't been made by Pacific Coast Feather in several years.
I purchased pillows, a mattress pad and a comforter directly from them and still great products!
25% off and free ship is always their best offer but look for their "flash sale" items. Limited quantity but usually 65% off.

So, who makes Northern Nights down comforters and blankets now? I own both (which I adore), but imagine mine were made by Pacific Coast Feather since I've had them for many years. If any of them ever need replacing, I'd probably prefer to purchased identical quality which would be from the original source! I'm THAT HAPPY with my current down products. ![]()
And like another poster said, was not impressed with the cover on the TSV which looked like something for a teenage boy's room. NO THANKS! Expected better from Northern Nights.
I do like the 100% cotton coverlets which were shown yesterday by Northern Nights. Have a couple of very similar ones which are pretty and launder very well.

@Junker2327 I saw these blankets. And I was so mad with myself for jumping the gun and ordering 2 twin down blankets from another company. These have a much higher thread count and they are larger than the ones that I ordered from Pacific Coast Feather Co. I sent an email to the company and because they had not shipped the items to me they allowed me to cancel my order. So I purchased the blankets from QVC. I have been researching white down blankets and some reviews on another highly touted down company claimed that the white down blankets were almost gray in color because you could see the feathers. Linda Davies said that their white down blankets are pure white. I hope so I don't want a dirty white.
I am using a Northern Nights down blanket now that I have had for at least 12 years. I have never had a problem with it and it is a Queen size and fits easily into my washing machine and dryer. So hoping these new blankets are just a nice.
