Northern Nights Flannel Sheets

What happened to Northern Nights flannel sheets? Those were the BEST flannel sheets I have ever had! Did they stop making them? 😢

@harleyrider64.  Flannel sheets in general have largely been replaced by microfleece sheets which most people find to be much softer and cozier and they don't pill as flannel often does.

Microfleece must mean they are made with polyester (aka plastic). I won't buy polyester anything!!!

That stuff lives in landfills forever and ever; longer than cans, paper and cardboard. It's nasty for our environment.

I recycle everything. Recycling Centers and many charities don't want polyester and man-made fibers.

They prefer natural fibers: cotton, silk, linen and wools. That's all I've ever worn or purchased for my home. Comfort and fiber breakdown is key IMHO.

@harleyrider64  I've seen 100% cotton flannel sheets on LL Bean, The Country Home  and some other on-line places.

Fortunately, I bought several sets of Northern Nights years ago and they are still in use on my bed for about three months each year. Mine do not pill and have remained soft and thick throughout the years.

Re: Northern Nights Flannel Sheets

I also bought a few sets of Northern Nights flannel sheets.  I've also bought flannel sheets at Costco, which I like.  I don't sleep on ANYTHING but flannel - even  in the summer.  (We have central a/c, which probably makes them comfy even in the summer.)

@harleyrider64 , my flannel comes from LLBean and Costco.  Both make very nice flannel.  I think I like LLBean best.  I am with @BirkiLady .  Only natural fibres in my bedding.  S

Re: Northern Nights Flannel Sheets

@harleyrider64 I too loved NN flannel. I now get Cuddl Duds flannel sheets (usually at Kohls). I really like them and they have many colors/patterns to chose from.
