I love it.  So often pictures of decorator rooms look uncomfortable, sterile, not really lived in.  This room has pretty, restful colors, comfortable furniture that can be snuggled in,  and has personal things like the books and picture, instead of only decor that looks like it was added because it was a color that blended.

Thank you for posting.  I like some of the pieces, but I find more comfort in warmer colors, with a bit more uniqueness.  What my cats and dogs could do with that rug!

Reading through old, fashion magazines I see that color referred to as ‘Ashes of Roses’, pretty well sums it up for me.

In contrast, I associate the color scheme with stability, without need for attention.  (I would, however, remove most of the table clutter.)

@Kachina624 , rescued from 'builder's beige" by the insert of blue.  There is a reason builders choose similar colours.  Must be restful.
