MathisFan, I can't think of any reason why you couldn't wash the mirrored cloche, carefully.
Kitty Galore, Reply #47 and #50 on "CIJ lovers only; what are you buying" thread will show you what you asked about. Thanks to gma_2_2 ;-)

When I used water some times it was hard to get the water spots off.The only thing I didn't like about the mirrored cloche is, it said "clean with a dry cloth". Would there be some reason you couldn't wash it? It is glass.

BornToShop, It's early and my brain is still foggy, but in comparing the two again, it looks like the mirrored one is actually the smaller of the two, but only slightly. HTH!

BTS, LOL I have days when I live under that cloud all day long, too! Thanks for the heads up about it being part of Lisa R's collection. I see now that they've added her name to several of the items.

H203479 $32.24 ($7.97)
3-Piece Glass Cloche Dome with Mirror Insert and Footed Base
Designed for Lisa Robertson
I like this! If I didn't already have a few it would be on it's way to me.
Out of desire and desperation during my cloche cravings period last year (remember when we were all on the hunt??) I cobbled together several of them. I bought the glass cloches and added bases. I combined a glass cloche with a carved antique silverplate serving dish and it's my most favorite. I haunted the resale shops, looking for base pieces that would fit the glass cloches--such fun!!
Now I'm on the lookout for an antique silverplate pedestal that will fit one of my glass cloches. Really like the look of glass & silver.

Hi moxie! Bet it looks wonderful!
