That is a beautiful piece of wood/furniture/instrument. I think there would have been places someone could have done something stunning with it in another room of the house. 

But this is just dumb. And it is compounded by the way the color and style doesn't match or coordinate with the rest of the room, in my opinion.

I guess the range vent is in that?

It has to be a kitchen used only for show.  Who in their right mind would do that knowing it will need to be cleaned because it's a grease and dust trap.

It reminds me of the guy that won one of the last Home Decorating Contest Shows on HGTV....He was always putting crazy things on the walls like coffee filters, parts of wooden chairs etc....I forget his name.....

Looks photoshopped to me. What’s holding it up? How is it attached to the wall and supported? Don’t know why anyone would really put a piano there.
