Wow, mine has had a long life and I need a new one.  Any recommendations?

Pacific Coast Feather. They offer various warmths in their website, including down blankets.

They still use hyperclean so they never smell like wet dog when laundering. These used to be NN back in the day.

25% off is their best discount unless you catch a "flash sale" of up to 65% off. Flash sales can last a week + .

I've had cheap and somewhat expensive comforters over the years. The best one I ever had is from LL Bean. It's lasted many years and I'll use it again this year.

I got a Serta from Q a little over a year ago, and couldn't be happier. (Purchased it in the summer.) They really have quite a variety now. But I remember reading and reading about the different ones they were offering, and dismissed the others for one reason or another.

I use mine year round -- air conditioning in summer, and I keep the heat off in the bedroom in winter. It's the only cover I use, no top sheet or other blanket.

My fave down comforters and blankets are Northern Nights. Lands End has nice ones too and they're more reasonable when on sale.

I also have a down comforter from L.L. Bean. Couldn't tell you how many years ago we bought it. Still in great shape. And I am putting it back on my bed this year too.

I also swear by my LL Bean comforters.  I've had two of them for years and alternate every winter.   I love them, I have purple and yellow Smiley Happy
