It is time for a new bed.  The Black Beyond Beautyrest Susan is a dud....and we are on the hunt for a comfy bed.  I could spent 24/7 cuddled in an Aireloom bed I found but it is the price of a new economy car.  Tried another Aireloom today at a more reasonable price..I seemed to be drawn to this brand. You can't comparison shop beds, they change the names of the models at each store.  Don't want to repeat the mistake we made with the BBBeautyrest.

Any of you have a bed that you adore or suggestions?  Thanks!

Do some research and investigation into the memory foam offerings.  People (including me) rave about them.  Eliminated my morning backaches.  Sleep much better.

@Kachina624  Thanks and have been looking into....we both have backaches as a result of our current bed.  Costco is having a road show on Tempurpedic and we are returning to test there as well as at other stores. Both Saatva (hybred with memory foam) and
Casper (foam) get good reviews. Thanks!

I bought a Serta Premium pillow top mattress about 4 years ago.Best decision I ever made. Both DH & I have back issues. We no longer wake up in pain. It’s just the right amount of soft & firm & molds to our bodies to give us incredible support. It’s also improved our sleep because we no longer twist & turn.

Phoenixbird, I have a terrible back, and resorted to sleeping in a recliner for many years, until I bought a TempurPedic with an adjustable base.  It has been a literal godsend, I won't ever need another bed for the rest of my life.  DH's Sleep Number bed with a memory foam 3" topper suits him, but is a nightmare for me.  I know lots of people like air mattresses of one sort or another, but I'm not one of them, it was a Sleep Number bed that put me in a recliner!  I don't know much about the other brands of memory foam beds, they might be good, too.  There pretty much wasn't anything but TempurPedic when I bought mine, so I've never researched the newer brands.  Good luck with your search, I hope you find something you love!

@phoenixbrd  DH & I love our Sleep Number bed. We've had it since 1999

We have an original Tempur-pedic, 8" foam mattress.  I would guess it is 15 years old and still providing comfort and support.  It's on a proprietary platform.  I will buy another if it becomes necessary.  We also have a "pedic solutions", QVC house brand, that is excellent.  A little soft for my liking, but not bad, and helped me recoup from hip replacement just fine.

I have back issues.  I love these foam mattresses.

@Sweetbay magnolia  I am happy you have found relief on this mattress....I would be so willing to go with a tempurpedic especially since I have similar issues....we went to look at them today and my DH says he wants the firmness of a metal coil foundation even though we tried even the firmest Tempurpedic.  Maybe we can find a happy medium with a hybrid...lots of memory form on top of a metal coil foundation.  Thanks for your feedback.
