Hi QVC Community. I need a recommendation for a vacuum that can pick up bird seed. I killed my Shark rocket. I do have a shop vac but it’s noisy. Thank you in advance. LadyAlice

Re: Need vacuum recommendation

I have a Shark Rotator Lift Away Pro.

It isn't the most high end vacuum on the market, but I'm extremely impressed with the quality and the way it deep cleans carpet for the price.

Great attachments too.

My mother killed her shark liftaway, vacuuming cat liter.  I got her a new shark, but also got her a small shop vac.  She loves her new shop vac.  It's very light and picks up litter in a flash. She keeps it in the closet by the litter box.

We rescue fur babies. All have ended up with us as their forever home. Two dogs and five cats right now, and we swear by our cordless Dysons❣️❣️ We have the Dyson 7 and a handheld and I can’t imagine life without them! (All purchased from QVC, btw.) They not only handle litter, but birdseed, as well. I understand the newer cordless Dysons are so powerful that production of the corded Dysons are being discontinued.

I use mynew dyson 10 animal cordless. I feed Harrison’s pellets not seeds but have shells from almonds, feathers, and chewed plastic bits. Works great.

A shop vac is best actually.

You don't say which one you have, I have a small one, lightweight.

When I had dogs, I went over the house first with the shop vac, then used my regular upright.

For example, here's a Micro, 1 gallon

crazy in love with my Shark ION robot!!! picks up everything, quiet, easy peasy. you can download the app and use phone as remote using your wi-fi, or just tap the clean button.

like all Shark vacs, does a fabulous job. if you don't want a robot, suggest a Shark upright.

Never thought that I'd spend the money for a Dyson, but I did.  Bought the cordless V8 and I love it.  Want the new model V10 now!  I have one kitty.

Re: Need vacuum recommendation

I swear by Dyson.  I used to have a Kirby for years and years. It just got too heavy for me to push. I purchased a Dyson as a TSV and am very pleased with it. We always have dogs, kids, etc. and this vaccuum performs. I really like the lifetime filters. I'v done with having to replace filters, etc. and trying to find them.
