@Sooner  My local Home Goods stores are full of beautiful, new comforter sets. Prices are competitive, too. I love down, but it can be very warm. Alternative down is better for allergies.

I bought my last 2 comforter sets from Target (2 different rooms).  Very nice, good quality and good pirce points.  I don't pay too much attentions to what's inside but I know it's not down filled.

NPR: Overstock.com is revamping using Bed Bath & Beyond's name (article found here)

Overstock.com is rebranding its website using Bed Bath & Beyond's name after it acquired intellectual property from the bankrupt company in June.

An online visit to Overstock, which sells goods like furniture, rugs and home decor, redirects U.S. users to BedBath&Beyond.com.

"This is a historic day for Bed Bath & Beyond and Overstock — and for the broader ecommerce industry," Bed Bath & Beyond CEO Jonathan Johnson said.

"Overstock has a great business model with a name that does not reflect its focus on home."

I recently set out to purchase a new down comforter. Instead I chose a wool comforter. I had not seen the insides of a wool comforter before and mine came with a little sample showing what is inside--it reminds me of UGG boots. 😄

I love the color of my new comforter. I did not want optic white, so I was happy it ais more of a vanilla.

We have yet to use it for warmth. We always turn it down before we get in bed.

@AuntG I looked at Wirecutter (New York Times) best comforter 2023 reviews and ordered the Target one and got it delivered today!  Will try out tonight.

It is pretty light but looks very nice!  SO I may keep it!  Otherwise, I may also buy a heavier one for cold cold weather!
