I will soon have a smallish room to use and decorate however I would like. I'm really excited about this new project, but would love some ideas. I don't want to end up wasting it by using it for storage - I want it to be a nice addition to my home.
I will probably use two low dressers and a bookcase, dark wood. I don't really like dark wood, but I do like a challenge! I don't need a guest room. It has a bed, but I can dress it up as a couch or get rid of it. It has two closets with sliding doors.
So.......What can I use this room for? And how can I pretty up the dark wood? What girly, light kind of colors would look good? What kind of furniture/accessories should I be looking at? I am open to any and all ideas! As I said, I'm really excited about doing this and I want to have fun with it. I'm very much "anything goes"! Thanks so much to all who respond.
