Need Some Help

Closed bedroom windows 'cause my Baby Girl (Yellow Lab) does not like it when the lawnman comes. Afterwards, was unable to open one of the windows (they push up and down). So, sprayed Pledge around the bottom half. Someone had told me when the windows are hard to open and close spray the tracks with Pledge. But, since the window is tightly shut can't do that, so sprayed around it. Anyways, it's been extremely hot and humid here today and really would like to open the window, but can't pull it up for the life of me. Any advice as to how to loosen it enough so I can open it?
