Need Help Posting Pictures

Hey Ladies! I would like to participate in posting some pictures that I have taken around my house. For some reason I can't get them to copy into these forums. I have them stored on my computer. When I try to copy and then paste them, nothing shows up in the post area.

What am I doing wrong? Do I have to download them to photobucket or something first?
