Re: Need CARPET SHAMPOOER Recommendations, Please

Hoover here also. I like it but I don't think any of them get that close to the baseboards. I just did my bedroom rug. I got mine from HSN 8 years ago. QVC has quite a few different one read the reviews from all of them may be that will help you make up your mind. Hey JJ good luck on the job search. I have a friend who is going through what you are and she is really getting disgusted. She says her knowledge is not worth any thing.

I just bought the Shark duo for hard surface floors & carpet. Plan to try it out tomorrow, I will come back and share my opinion. If anyone has this one and has used it perhaps they will share their experience/opinions.

Re: Need CARPET SHAMPOOER Recommendations, Please

Love my Bissell heatwave Deep lifter. Paid about 250 from the Q about 2 months ago. I also have off white carpet, that I had cleaned rofessional in Dec. 2013, and the dirt that came out when I recleaned with my Bissell was amazing. I live alone and take my shoes off when I am in house. Shows the professional cleaning that is so expensive does not do a good job.

Re: Need CARPET SHAMPOOER Recommendations, Please

I recently purchased a Bissell from QVC. Free shipping, 5 easy payments & a reasonable price. I believe it was $159 and its dark blue Pro Heat. Love this machine. Quality built. It has a little weight to it but easy to maneuver. Does a great job of cleaning the carpeting. It has a separate container for the shampoo which can be stored in the container when not in use. One water container that separates the clean from dirty water. This machine has many great features. The tools hose is attached to machine so if you are cleaning carpet & need to change to stairs, it's just flick the switch & you are ready to go.

I have owned a Royal for about three years as well a Royal Vacuum cleaner. I love it! Cleans well and the shampoo smells great. I rented a Rug Doctor didn't care for it.

Bissell Big Green Deep Cleaning Machine hands down. Had one of the Bissell uprights and finally spent the money and got this baby. Did my own test with the Bissell upright and then "recleaned" same carpet with the Big Green and you wouldn't believe what it still removed from my carpets. This unit even picks up embedded sand that the upright and my Dyson didn't get. All of this said, these are big units so you have to take that into account. For me, it is so worth it to deal with the bigger unit. It is available for rental from Lowes I believe if you want to try it out. By the way, I got mine at Bed, Bath & Beyond and used the coupon so got it for a much better price than anywhere else. Best of luck!
