Sometimes the architecture of East Coast homes really call my name.  This was lovely to see. Cat Happy

When are you moving?  How exciting!

I built this house around the antiques.  We win't be moving.

I like the exterior and architectural details. Love the windows in the living room but not the furniture. I like the kitchen best, but I wouldn't hang those wooden things on the wall. I'm not really a fan or murals or wallpaper, but the library is ok. I like the laundry room. The master bedroom is my least favorite room; it looks like a hotel room. JMO.

Re: NORTH CAROLINA HOUSE

[ Edited ]

Good morning @ECBG .  We have a long way to go to donate, sell and then pack up this too large house. It may be 18 months-2 yrs. away (estimate). Tax season begins end of Dec. and DH will be minimally helpful until April 15th. We also are having the outside of house painted and windows cleaned in the spring. Bedroom has old carpet that we're replacing w/ hardwood like rest of first floor and then all the floors need to be buffed, stained the same...

We waited too long and at this age it's really difficult to carry packed boxes. Big mistake for anyone who's thinking of moving.

I love the antiques you've shown here. Happy you'll be staying in your house.

You may have stayed a tad long, but you had a wonderful place to walk Molly.

Shadow needs the room here to run.  The woods are ideal, this is the most valuable private lot,
