Another one from influential designer Peter Dunham. In his portfolio, this one is called "Big Canyon", and it does have such an idyllic setting.
Here I like the way the natural area rug keeps things "toned down", and of course, the organic green and cream color scheme so compatible with the outdoors.
Love: distressed, bullseye mirror, reclaimed mantel, delicate sconces. If you enlarge any of these pictures, you'll see exquisite details.
That subtle color combo of a mossy, almost dusty green couch with raspberry toned pillows-- love. Pretty chintz on the armchair.
The airy dining room has iron and glass doors that open right onto a patio. One of Dunham's trademarks is the pretty rugs he puts in rooms.
In this relaxed family room, you also get that wonderful indoor-outdoor feeling.
Stunning hood.
I like the way he integrates vintage elements even in bathroom.
In other Dunham projects, he has at least one charming little wallpapered refuge-- here, it's the office. Love that with the green woodwork.
The mood turns cozy in the library. Note the enviable antique library steps at the bottom right!
This dreamy bedroom to me, has a glamorously 'weary', low-key, almost Old Hollywood air...
But comfort is always uppermost!
I like that in the guest bedroom, he introduces some piquant global touches in fabrics and accessories...
....including paisleys, exotic pillows, and those neat little Syrian tables...
More indoor-outdoor. Those doggos are overlooking a bluestone patio. Bluestone is my favorite paving surface.
Open air dining.
I just love this guy's style. He also designs textiles, which show up beautifully in his interiors.

@Oznell Love the cocker spaniels. They could make any house a home.

@Oznell - Beautiful home! While some of the combinations of prints may not be my taste, the house still has an airy yet cozy feel. The one thing I would change would be the glass cabinets in the kitchen. I love that cream chaise lounge and the doggies!!

First off thank you @Oznell for all your interesting posts. Ok the house is fabulous but, I would not have all that wallpaper in the office area. Lovely home.

Lovely setting and many impressive elements. Overall though, I'm not wowed by his designs for this home.

VERY enjoyable! I loved quite a lot, especially the outside of the home and that glorious green couch which wasn't too "dusty".
Still not a fan of the large ottoman used as a table, they take up too much space.

Really love the little green office...even the papered ceiling. Very charming.

Beautiful home!
I'm not crazy about some of the furnishings/decorations, but if someone wanted to give me this house, I would not say No!![]()
Thank you Oznell - always enjoy your posts.
