We thought about a new one for the camper but not at the prices we're finding, this one will last another year or two.

I bought a new queen hybrid with an adjustable base on sale almost 2 years ago and paid that much.  But I do love it, and I LOVE the adjustable base!

I bought my bed in a box about 7 years ago---and paid $750 for a full size. Is still wonderful---but one of my DD friends, spent $9000 on a purple mattress!!!! I am not sure why?? But they LOVE it!! WOW!!!

@wagirl

What's the deal with the  purple mattress? I also have a friend who purchased one and now thinks everyone else (me!) needs to buy one! At that price, I'm not interested in trying it for fear I'd be tempted. LOL

I bought a Westin Heavenly bed in Queen last year for the guest bedroom.

It's made by Beautyrest. I think about $2,750 on sale.

It's tough to find a brick and mortar store that delivers out this far.

@BirkiLady I laid on every purple mattress in their lineup at a local mattress store. I absolutely hated them!

@BirkiLady ---I honestly don't know?? I think they got many perks with it too, like new pillows, a mattress pad and maybe a frame ..... maybe a longer warrantee---who knows----

@Bookplate - I would encourage your friend to look around. Saatvas look great because of the reviews but they do not seem to allow most of the not-so-great reviews. I have had two saatvas because I want a non-toxic mattress and they deliver. Neither have held up. They replaced the one after a year. The replacement is now four years old and needs to be replaced again. Not sure if it's the industry as a whole, the "ingredients" in the non-toxic mattresses or just Saatva but I will be trying another brand when I find one that doesn't get delivered in a box.

Has anyone tried Hastens down beds? I've looked and looked, but haven't purchased yet. Close to it though!

Have purchased their bedding and comforters, pillows and down booties. Heart
